Our Farming Program:

-Gives veterans the opportunity to engage in meaningful agricultural work, from animal care to land management.

-Veterans help maintain the farm, while also contributing to providing fresh food for themselves and other elder vets in need.

Our First Batch Of Chicks! 

We got our first batch of chicks in from Dahline Poultry, our chicken partner! Our goal is to raise 500 birds not only for our organization's needs, such as food bundles, cookouts, and raffles. Part of those 500 birds will be for our community outreach partner organizations, including Truman VA!

Farm fresh eggs for our bundles and for dropping off at various VFW's!

Livestock Trailers!

Once we have a chance to get them all fixed up, we'll have them available for members to borrow, if they need to grab something! 

The Duck Enjoying The Pond!

Once they had been here for a few weeks we let them out to explore and it didn't take them long to find the pond! They're now laying like crazy!

Pigs!

We're working on finishing up our pig pen and hut so we can work on getting our breeding pair donated, to start raising pigs on the farm!
